I am aiming for MS in MIS for Fall'17.
GRE: 316 (Q:161,V:155,AWA-3.5)
TOEFL : 97
CGPA: 8.04(Punjabi University, Main Campus, Patiala)
Experice.- 2.7 years with Infosys Limited.
Firstly following unavolidable constraints, It was not certain for me to study abroad. However, when it became certain, it was too late for me. I missed a lot of university deadlines and applied on the final dates of few only.
I have got Admit from Arizona State university :- MIS program
Pending admits are:-
CMU(applied 10th Jan)- nopt hoping any admit as video interview was also not impressive. Just hoping blind spot. fingers crossed
University at Buffalo (Applied - 15 Feb)
USF (Appplied 1st Feb)
UIC (applied 15th Feb)
Now seeking advice and guidance on what shall be my decision. In short the problem is , Though the WP Carey school of business at ASU i well known but i doubt about MIS as i have not got any personal experienced person's reviews. The program is 1 year long and is evening course that too 2 days a week only. So please help me on this. Will the course be productive? how well this course is recommended for me.
Secondly , if i get CMU which is highly unlikely, then i know my decision which is obvious but What should be my decision if i get admits from pending university results.
Shall i wait for another year and apply for Fall'18 as i am confident that i can score above 320 in GRE and TOEFL was just carelessness from my side. I think i have to pay for this carelessness.
