GRE: 324 (162 Q 162 V, 4.0 AWA)
TOEFL: 114

I have completed my first year in Amity university and rest of the 3 years in Jaypee Institute of Technology.

GPA: 7.9 - 81%(Percentile) (B.Tech IT, Jaypee Institute of Technology)
GPA: 6.5 (Amity University, Noida) - Only for 1st year. (Really good reason for the low GPA. Would mention in SOP)

Work Experience:
Working since June 2014
2.5+ years

1 year and continuing - Cleartrip.
1.5 years in a startup.

2 Research Papers (1 related to ML and simulations) in international journals.
1 project related to ML (The project was the basis of research papers)

Universities I am considering:

1.) University of Massachusetts Amherst - Friend is there who is co-author in both my papers. Should I mention this somewhere, and if so, where?
