MAJOR PROJECTS WORKED ON IN COLLEGE :
- B.Tech Thesis : As part of B.Tech Project, devised a new scheduling heuristic which takes into account energy consumption along with performance. Accrued about 8% savings in energy with no loss of performance for a CCR (cost to communication ratio) of 1. (Language - C++)
- Implemented Othello using the miniMax algorithm as a project for Machine Learning course. Experimented with different ply depths. Also implemented alpha-beta pruning, making observations regarding the total number of nodes pruned at different ply depths. (Language - C++)
- Developed an android application which helps users track buses in real time based on the route selected, using concepts such as crowd sourcing and data mining. (Java)
- Simulated Inorder Pipeline, Branch Prediction by tournament predictor and Set Associative L1 and L2 Caches. Program outputs the miss rate of caches, IPC and branch predictor accuracy for a set of instructions. (JAVA)
- General Dynamic Storage Allocation : Implemented a solution to the general dynamic storage allocation problem. Simulated malloc() and free() functions. Used the buddy memory allocation algorithm for allocating memory.
- OpenGL : Created a basic game as a part of Computer Graphics project in OpenGL. Game required user to navigate from one corner of a board (of tiles) to diagonally opposite corner while evading tiles with fire and other obstructions. Difficulty level could be set. 3 different views implemented.

- Led the Marketing and PR team of the Enactus chapter (formerly SIFE , an NPO) of our college. Developed sustainable business models for the underpriviledged enabling them to stand on their own feet. Role also involved liasing with different NGOs' and other Enactus teams.
- I was also a part of the core organizing committee of the cultural fest of our college.
- Started the chapter of Nightingales Medical Trust at Cisco, an NGO that serves elders from different socioeconomic groups by enhancing skills and promoting post retirement employment. Imparted various computer literacy sessions to the elderly. Efforts culminated in a job fair attended by 1000+ elders of which 400+ secured employment.
