I am applying for MS programs in Industrial engineering for fall 2017
My Academic Details are:
B.Tech manufacturing engineering - 7.3/10,
National institute of foundry and forge technology/ Topper- 9.
GRE: 331 Q168 V163 awa- 3
Work experience:
currently working as quality assurance engineer in one of India's biggest integrated automotive ancillary company- Amtek group . since last 1.1 years
- internship at Bosch india - 2 months in quality engineering and supply chain
- minor internship at TOP speed - 1month , on sheet metal fabrication and welding ( basically to help in our projects)
2 academic projects , details in infobank
1 research paper related to QA
have few awards in both international and national engineering competitions , kindly refer to info bank for details
i am planning for
1. Univ of Missouri ,columbia
2. Cal poly , SLO
3.ASU
4.Univ of Houston MC
5.clemson
6 SUNY buffalo
7.Univ of iowa
8. virginia tech
9.NCSU
10.Lehigh university
11. univ of oklahoma
i want to distribute my list to 4 abmi 4 mod and 3 safe
and i am particularly worried about my acad part , which i am trying my best to compensate a bit by awards and few in work projects , but i have heard as IE is relatively less competitive so ,please give your view regarding that.
sir, as u can see i have always kept my profile strictly relevant to industrial/manufacturing/quality engg as i am passionate about them
kindly suggest any update to the list and if i have missed out on any good univ worth trying a shot for because due to acads my hopes are getting restricted far from likes of (purdue, winscosin, penn state)![Sad Sad]()
