-->Internships
1. Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati
● To design a Gaussian Noise Generator using a few PN(Pseudo Noise) sequence generators to obtain a sum of uncorrelated, uniformly distributed leading to an approximate Gaussian expression.
● To design a precision rectifier circuit for very small analog signals.

2. Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati
● To model the existing Modulation Techniques using MATLAB. Study on Cognitive Radio, Software Defined Radio and its projected role in improving spectrum utilization efficiency.

3. Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati

● My task was to explore the various ways in which the NLTK toolkit, developed by Stanford University, could be applied in our tasks of summarizing, tagging and other sorts of languageanalysis. It offered me a chance to learn Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. I wrote a python program to analyze a website's (NDTV.com) text archives and list patterns occurring in any time frame- people/topic appearing most in the news, how a particular object is portrayed by the channel over a period of months. It could also summarize a long text into a concise statement.

-->Final Year Project

● The project was to develop an automatic pre Language Identification System which could divide the audio being examined into two classes of Tonal and Non-Tonal class. This pre classification would reduce the complexity of a Language Identification System and also reduce the computation time. We compared the efficacy of such a pre-classifier, in which the classifier was trained with Artificial Neural Network or Support Vector Machines or k Nearest Neighbor Algorithm.

Letter of Recommendation
2 from college professors, 1 from current supervisor in company
Out of the 2 professors, one was HOD during my time and my final year project supervisor. 1 paper published with him. Hopefully strong reco. The other one taught relevant subjects (Satellite Communication & Wireless Communication). Expecting moderately strong reco. No idea about how the third reco will turn out to be.
