According to the press conference by the Ministry of Education, India, the National Testing Agency is going to take over JEE Mains exam and NEET exam from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The Union Cabinet of India has taken this step to reduce pressure and stress over CBSE. Since apart from the Board examinations, CBSE is conducting other major entrance exams also. This overburden of exams will be reduced by the National Testing Agency.
The Union Cabinet is thinking of conducting the IIT JEE exam twice a year to give one more chance to the aspirants who are preparing for this exam. So, it is nearly sure that CBSE is going to conduct the JEE Mains exam and NEET exam for the last time in the year 2018. Many aspirants are now worried about, what will be the difficulty level of the exams?
Apart form JEE Mains and NEET, NTA is also going to take over UGC NET exam from the CBSE. So, from the year 2019, the CBSE UGC NET will be conducted by National Testing Agency. Till now, CBSE is conducting this exam twice a year. And NTA has decided to conduct the UGC NET exam, only once a year.
So, let's hope, this change will support our goal.
All the Best..!!
