Please help me in shortlisting universities based on my profile for Masters in Computer Science with a special focus on Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
Undergrad Major: Computer Science and Engineering
CGPA: 3.35/4
GRE: 322 (Q-167 | V-155 |AWA-4)
TOEFL: 110(R: 28, L: 29, S:26, W: 27)
Institution : Symbiosis Institute of Technology
Relevant Projects:
1) Real Time Traffic Sign Detection and Recognition module for Driverless Car
2) Real Time Traffic Light Identification module for Driverless Car
3) Number Plate Parity Detection for Private Cars
I have attended multiple workshops during my undergraduate years and continuously tried to evolve my knowledge in the field of AI.
I topped my class in Engineering Mechanics 3 and Artificial Intelligence, among others.
I have done a 6 Month Research Internship working with a startup that was competing in the Mahindra Rise: Driverless Car Challenge and produced the above mentioned modules for the Driverless Car. I have worked on Artificial Neural Nets, Random Forests, Cascade Classifiers, Support Vector Machines, and features like HAAR, Linear Binary Pattern, Histogram of Oriented Gradients, Maximally Stable Extremal Regions etc.
I have basic experience with haptic robotic arms, line following bots and more, and I have worked on many projects from Database Management, to distributed systems etc.
Work Experience : Completed 15 months with Amazon Development Center India as Devops Engineer II.
Extra-curricular:
1. Working with CRY India.
2. Was a core member of Design Team for college Cultural Fest for 2 consecutive years.
3. Warli Artist.
