Academic Projects :
1. Virtual Screening of chemical compounds using Artificial Neural Networks [ Back Propagation Algorithm ] [ Got A Grade ]
2. Built a toy operating system as part of our lab work [ Got S Grade ( 10/10 ) in this lab and Im the only one to get this ]
3. Built a toy compiler as part of Compilers Lab course [ Got A Grade ]
4. Built a portal for friends so that they can form group and plan holidays/ vacations [ Very Basic ]
co curricular projects :
1. Parts of Speech tagging and extracting key words out of URLS so that its easy to search your stored book marks : Done a part of GSOC [ Not selected though ] ( Open Source Contribution )
2. Selected the best cricket team [ World XI and India XI ] for 2015 World Cup using past 4 years data using grey relation analysis. We won the first place in India for this project.
3. Project in which we designed a logic based on stack over flow data and basic NLP to match Resumes and Job Description. Won 3rd out of all Teams in Morgan Stanley India.
Professional Projects :
I Work for Analytics , Intelligence and Data Technology Team in Morgan Stanley.
1. Anomaly Detection :
Using K Means Algorithm We tried to find the anamolies in employees whose usage patterns deviate from normal usage pattern. Used Big Data Technologies Extensively.
2. Real Time Fraud Detection in Credit Cards / Online Transfers and Wire Transfers.
Used Decision Tree Model to detect frauds in Real Time. Big Data tools used
3. Next Best Action.
Used Random Forest Models to predict the next best step to take in terms of market transctions and suggest them to our financial advisors.
All the three projects above are engineering heavy. I worked with a spread of big data tools and machine learning models.
