Profile evaluation request -
I'm planning to apply for MS Computer Science programs Fall '18.Kindly evaluate my profile.

Profile:-
BE in Computer Science of batch 2017.
Percentage:- 67.31
GRE:- 308(Q:159 V:149)
Toefl:- 95

Work Ex:-
6-months internship as Software Development Intern.

Projects:-
1) Designed, Build and sold a product named Asset Tracker to a Logistic Company. I build the product on an ARM and cellular hardware. The reason I was able to sell my product was because, I reduced the service cost by 80% compared to other market competitors. Build Low data packets for sending data from device to my designed scalable cloud infrastructure and used my custom made mapping service(Imagine only sending a 100 byte data per half minute because data charges for sim cards are really high, I aimed for only 2 to 3 Mbs of TOTAL data usage per month). This was a whole system developed by myself ranging from hardware design to providing insights by using Machine Learning for Dashboard.

2) As a side project I crafted out a mapping platform based on OpenStreetMaps and GIS which was eventually used in the Asset Tracker product to display live positions of the assets on the Map. I was inspired by a company called mapbox which provides Maps as a service and started myself to build a high performance Mapping platform by using Nodejs, Java, Python, Nosql, PostGIS and everything that could help me to achieve the performance I was aiming for (I really spent two semesters of my undergrad. to build this platform on my private infrastructure. I still remember downloading 35Gbs of raw dataset of map and then building my web services on the top of that).

3) I was also able to sell a SaaS web application to an Advertising Firm. Used as a CRM by them. This project was also significantly large as CRM had many features such as role management, ledgers, vendor management, communication channel like slack, etc

4) Final year project: My college sponsored my project. I made every computer lab automated in my dept. This project was made on simple Raspberrypi with barcode scanning feature. Made a simple door lock that would only give access to student and professors entering the lab. Other features had simple automation with starting and allocating PC to students as they enter. Well this project achieved 96% of accuracy for identifying the right student entering the lab and automatically allocating a PC for him/her.

5) Inspired by linux package managers. I build a package manager for windows using python and .NET. Which most of the repositories are on my personal server. This made installing and configuring softwares on windows so automated that packages like JDK could be installed and configured by just one command.

6) An opensource project build with the aim of achieving as much of high accuracy for Facial Recognition in live environmental settings. Mainly build upon Tensorflow and OpenCV. Currently on 94.3% accuracy.

7) Finally, Two android application on play store.
a) An app for students and teachers which can be used as a communication medium for posting notices or asking doubts. tracking student progress while studding and student had access class notes in their account using the app.
b) Freelancing: I made an app for a startup with was mainly focusing on counseling and educating and preparing students for competitive exams. (They made huge money out of it by selling account subscription of the app Razz).

These apps have decent no' of downloads and active users.

Achievements and workshops:
Was in top 5 percentile of a Competitive Programing Contest named CodeVita (had around 1,97,000 participants all around the world).

Hadoop and Big Data workshop organized IIT Delhi.
Presented a Seminar on autonomous cars from technical aspects.

Extra-Curricular:
1) I wrote many technical columns and blogs in Local English Newspaper.
2) Founded a Rock band in my undergrad. college.

Paper Published:- None yet (I made a draft and will be submitting for review but will not be mentioning anywhere in my application). Would like to let you guys know. It's about imitation learning model based on mimicking human emotions and situations that would eventually help to generate sentiments in a Chatbot. A NLP based paper.

I have LOR from my college professors and One from HOD.

Below are the universities that I shortlisted based on my interest. Please rate it with Ambitious, Moderate and Safe. Please consider that my aim after doing MS is to get a job and a good career. Feel free to let me know If I can alter some universities.

Northeastern University
NYU Tandon School of Engineering
UNCC
Syracuse University
Suny Buffalo
SJSU for SE
UMBC
SDSU
UC Merced (Please let me know more about this. I want to go for UC system schools but I know my GRE is hurting me :\ ).
Suny Binghamton

I can consider to apply for cal state University for very safe but I'm concern for their low rank and not so good program. If you guys could suggest any which would you consider?
CSU Long Beach, CSU Fullerton or CSU Sacramento.

I'm in serious trouble and continuously digging my head in shortlisting the universities as not many universities are aligned to my interest which I could get in current GRE score. My factors for shortlisting are mainly dependent on Overall Cost of Attendance and Internships with attending the program. I would highly appreciate if someone shed light on these questions.

Also would like to let you guys know that I cannot retake GRE as I want to apply for Fall 18 and retaking will be taking much time.

I really appreciate and recognize the full worth of the hard work and help you guys provide here. I really thank you guys for considering me and helping me out from your precious time.
