I have just finished writing my GRE and TOEFL and am planning to apply to MS in Information Systems(IS), Information Technology(IT) or Computer Science (CS - SE specialization)
Undergraduate
College: College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai
CGPA: 7.4/10
Branch: Computer Science
GRE: 322 (161Q/161V/3AWA)
TOEFL: TBD (Got 112 2 years ago, expecting lower this time)
Internships:
None
Academic Projects:
- Final year project: Raspberry Pi based Heads Up Display with Voice/Gesture Recognition and Android Interface
- Mini project: ICMP simulation using C
- Mini Project: Tamil Nadu University Management System
Non Academic Projects:
- Developed two large scale websites which at it's peak had over 100k unique visitors a day. Good knowledge of web development, server administration and the "internet". Strong professional resume.
- Developed a Youtube2Mp3 Android application which had over 100k downloads.
Other extra curricular activities:
- Developed the website for the annual college symposium
- Proficient graphic designer with a varied portfolio. Designed the winning T-Shirt for the college symposium.
No papers/publications.
Work Experience
- 1 year working as a Software developer at a US based property auction company. Awarded the title of "Best fresher 2015".
- 1.6 years working at Samsung's developing the backend systems for Samsung.com
