Hey Guys, My name is Amir, completed my bachelors in Chemical Engineering at University of Bradford. My profile is as follows:-
GRE- 318(Q-166, V-152, AWA-4.5)
TOEFL- yet to give. ( I gave IELTS before and scored 8/9 so shouldn't be problem scoring 100+)
GPA - 4/4
Projects - Couple of final year projects and plenty of minor projects in first and second year.
Internship - Two Summers Internships lasting for 3 months and am currently completing an year long Internship. (3 in Total)
Research Experience - None Unfortunately.
Strong LOR's and SOP (I already have offers for Masters in Manchester, Imperial, UCL and Birmingham but again UK isn't my first choice)
I plan to apply in the US this fall for MS in Chemical Engineering. Houston and California are my prime choices (MIT was in the list too but I guess with the low verbal I wont be able to make the cut). My current mains are Rice, Texas Austin, Texas A&M, University of Houston, UCLA and UC San Diego. I would be more than grateful if the seniors could evaluate my profile and advise me whether the universities I aim are within my league.
Also if there are any suggestions about universities offering programs for the same, it'll be useful. Looking forward for some suggestions.
Thanks
Amir
