Hi seniors,
I'm planning to study MS CS in Fall 2018 in USA or canada for a non-thesis course based program. My interest is to get into industry post-MS (not research).
My profile is as follows:

Scores
GRE - 318 (161 Q, 157 V, 4 AWA)
GPA - 8.7 (Anna university, SSNCE)
TOEFL - yet to take, expect ~100+

Work Experience
Job #1 - 3 years experience
Worked as software consultant in India for a US-based firm and had good exp with web and mobile development in modern technologies for major US-based clients
Job #2 - 2 years experience
Worked as software developer in US for a silicon valley based startup, got a great experience in latest technologies.

Certifications
IBM Certified Websphere Portal developer
IBM Certified Worklight mobile application developer

Journals/publications
I have published 1 article in ACM digital sigweb newsletter, I am not sure if this counts as a paper to list on my CV

Recommendations
1. my direct supervisor at job #2
2. my project guide at college
3. I would like to know should I go for another college professor for redo or a senior colleague at job #2, it has been 5 years since I graduated. Some universities are asking for minimum 2 academic references. I feel I would get a much better reference from other (senior) colleagues at job#2 or job#1. Will this risk my chances?

Shortlisted universities
University of Waterloo (MMath CS course)
Simon Fraser University
McGill University

Hoping to get some advice on this list, I am still exploring more safe Canadian university options! Thanks in advance!
