Hey Guys,
I am Prateek Maini and I am new here. I am looking to pursue my MIS in Fall 2018. I have researched some universities, used the UniSearch on Edulix and also read previous posts and have come up with an initial list of universities. Please rate my choices and also tell me some other good Universities I have a chance in.
I am currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and I am currently in my final year (7th Sem).
My UG percentage uptill the sixth semester is 82.2% (no backlogs) and the toppers percentage is 90.2%. My university rank is less than 100 and my university has 1400 students pursuing CSE in my batch. I have no work experience(obviously),but, I have done a summer training in SAG Labs,DRDO and also have interned with National Informatics Centre(NIC),Delhi as a front-end web developer.
I am also an ex AIESEC in Delhi IIT member (have no certificate to prove it though) where I facilitated student exchanges between corporate clients in Delhi and students from all over the world. I have also done social work with a Delhi based NGO - CREA. I have also done an online data structures course from Coursera.
I am not good at coding and don't like it too. In AIESEC I realised I am interested in management and that's why I chose to pursue MIS. Thus, I would like to go for courses that are more Business/Management oriented than Tech oriented. This is my primary concern when choosing a University. My other priorities would be : Costs(including living costs) and Job Availability.

2. Texas A&M University(Mays Business School) - MIS
3. University of Maryland,College Park - MSIS
4. SUNY Buffalo(UB School of Management) - MIS
5. University of Arizona (Eller) - MIS (Is this course only for cybersecurity ?)
6. Indiana University - Bloomington (Kelley) - MSIS
7. University of Cincinnati - MSIS
8. University of Illinois at Chicago - MIS
9. University of Washington (Foster) - MIS
10. Syracuse University - MIS (Not inclined towards iSchool though )
11. University of California,Berkley - MISM (iSchool again)
12. New York University(Stern) - MIS
13. Georgia State University - MIS
Please advice me my safe, mod and ambitious options. Also, if you guys could tell me which of these courses are more management oriented than tech oriented ( like 60/40 ratio and above).
