Question on Part Time studies during OPT.
Can I take classes while I’m on OPT? While engaged in post-completion OPT, students are eligible to engage in coursework as long as it is incidental to their OPT employment (limited to part-time enrollment.)

I need help in understanding what " incidental" means in this case. Can the courses so taken be applied to a degree (e.g. PhD) when visa/employment status changes. For example. If I take courses during OPT, and then I enroll for PhD after 1 year, can the courses completed (part time) during OPT be applied to the PhD Coursework credit requirements?
