notarized copy of LoR and submitting GRE/IELTS score

Hi guys,

I have some question regarding how we should submit documents to the universities.

1. Is it acceptable to submit a notarized copy of Letter of Reference for master program application?
I have a low supply of LoRs and I am afraid I cannot ask my Professors to reprint the LoRs.

2. Do you submit GRE result even when it is not a mandatory requirement for the program? If yes, how do you submit them?
I email the program asking for the ETS code everytime I want to submit GRE score because sometimes they do not mention it in the website. Is that a common thing to do?

3. The institution where I took IELTS test only gave 1 original score sheet. So I need to send my documents without authorized IELTS score and ask the institution to send the official result to the universities. Besided I have to pay double for shipment, I also need to arrange the timing. Is that normal? Or I am missing some tricks to streamline the process ?

I know applying to universities can be tiring but regarding this IELTS (and GRE), if it is the way it is, then I would be still happy to do that.
