I am looking to specialize in ML/AI.
My initial list is:
1. CMU
2. Georgia Institute of Technology
3. University of Massachusetts Amherst
4. University of Michigan
5. University of Southern California
6. University of Pennsylvania
7. University of Texas at Austin
8. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
9. University of Maryland - College Park
10. Columbia University/UCI/UCSD

I realise a lot of them are Ambi, and am open to suggestions for replacing them.
Also if possible I am looking for some feedback regarding Data Science courses. Since my primary interest is ML, could I just enroll in MSDS and pick relevant courses? How will it be different from say MSCS with same interests?

I am open to different course suggestions, but could someone enlighten me as to how job and research prospects vary after MSCS/MSDS/MEngg courses?

Also something that will be obvious from my infobank is that I don't have any publications/research exp. So it's difficult to search for Uni's since most people admitted to top colleges usually have either/both. Any universities I should try applying to with my current profile? Or should I rewrite my entire list?
