I have to decide between my best two admits Purdue MS CS, U Penn MSE CS
Purdue MS CS Vs U Penn MSE CS:
Purdue MS CS:
1. Public research University, CS department wise good courses regarding my interests (AI, ML, Datamining)
2. Chances of TA/RA and on campus jobs
3. Internships and Job Post MS are good (Seniors Opnion)
4. Tuition Fee ($47, 947 two years 30 credits, 10 courses, (Rs 32, 60, 396 @68))
-->Within my budget (if I get a TA probably less fee to pay)
5. At present not in to PHD may be in future.
6. I have ordered my I 20 from Purdue and accepted their offer.
U Penn MSE CS:
1. Private, Ivy League Research University, CS department wise good courses regarding my interests (AI, ML, Datamining)
2. No Chances of TA/RA and on campus jobs available
3. Internships and Job Post MS are good reputation wise (may be better than Purdue?)
4. Tuition Fee ($68, 895 two years 10 course units (Rs 46, 84, 860 @68))
-->Not in my budget I have to take extra loan (TA/RA probably less to get)
5. At present not in to PHD may be in future
6. $300 to pay by June 1st to reserve my admit
At present I am in a dilemma whether to go for U Penn is it worth (extra cost of paying tuition fees around 14 lakh than Purdue and I have to take extra loan) I think i can manage living expenses by doing On Campus job at both the Universities.
Please help me seniors as of now my aim is to get a job after MS not into research.
