Credit Co-op Society FD for i20 proof

Hi All,

Can we show the money invested as FD in a credit co-operative society as the monetary proof? The credit co-op societies are registered under "The Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002" and the co-operative Societies Act, 1912. They will provide the statement on a proper letterhead.
Can this be shown as a proof? Has anyone done this already and received a VISA?
