SOP & Personal statement
1. Choosing a possible advisor. I looked at their individual websites, google scholar, research gate, previous students.
Luckily, I found a professor whose research interest was quite close to mine. Previous students included Indians. I know the software which professor is currently working on. I was able to connect dots of my previous experience in automobiles to professor's interest in electric vehicles and relevant coursework through IEEE online course.
2. Strengths of program
MTU is quite known for its work on automobiles. The course offers certain amount of flexibilty and breadth which I didn't find in other universities.
3. LOR to certain extent I feel.
