I am in two minds about pursuing my masters degree in fall 17 . I currently do not have any work experience, but I have been recruited by Accenture for the role of 'Solftware Engineering Associate'.I will have 6 months or so of work experience by Fall 17.So far I've received mixed advice about pursuing my masters as a fresher. How crucial will work experience be in a IS/MIS degree?I'm more inclined towards a technical oriented program and therefore I've applied to the following schools-
Northeastern University
University of Cincinnati
It would be be immensely helpful if someone could provide the pros and cons of pursuing an IS degree as a fresher.I would also appreciate suggestions regarding any other 2 year technical oriented programs and the admit chances for my profile. Finally, I would like to thank the edulix community which has been an immense help throughout the application process.
Thanks!
