Hey guys,
I am extremely confused about what universities are safe / mod / ambi for MS-MIS. I really want to do it in Business Schools.
Here is my profile:
GRE - 316 (Quant: 161, Verbal: 155, AWA: 4.0)
TOEFL - 112
Undergrad: 72% from VTU (B.E in Information Science and Engineering)
Internship turned into a part time job:
1 and half years as Web Developer at HCR, a small small start up in Bangalore
Work Experience:
1 and half years at BETSOL, a mid sized company - worked on about 5 projects until now and got a lot of experience.
VP has agreed to provide a recommendation.
Extra-curricular:
1. Active social service member at Lions Club, Bangalore.
2. Part of recruitment team at current company for hiring freshers.
3. Conduct workshops at colleges to help students bridge the gap between academics and the industry.
4. School Captain.
5. Organized events at annual college fests.
Colleges I am looking at (but please do suggest more)
1. TAMU
2. Eller College - University of Arizona
3. Duke for the Masters in Engineering Management Program
4. Smith School - UMD College Park
5. SUNY Buffalo
6. UT Dallas
7. Syracuse
8. Arizona State - Carey School of Business
Could you please suggest some more mod universities?
Thanks in advance!
