Transcripts original or attested photocopy

Hello everyone,

I am planning to apply for Fall 2017 Masters program(CS). I have this query regarding applying to universities, whether we have to send them the original transcripts or attested photocopy will work too? Does this requirement differ from from one university to another?

I have actually applied for four copy of transcripts at my university. Do I need to apply again in case I am aiming more than four universities?

Kindly help me on this query.
